Guru of Great Bliss refers to the meditation state of Guru. And if the Guru of Great Bliss is tridimensional, he will be called Red Mado generally.
Guru of Great Bliss is one of the Secret Root Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche. Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) is extremely precious and immeasurably kind. He is the lotus-born tantric master who was prophesied by Buddha Shakyamuni and established Vajrayana Buddhism in Tibet in the 9th century. It was he who, in this degenerate age, upheld the teachings of the sutra and tantra in their entirety and made them flourish far and wide.

THE LEGEND OF DZOGCHEN MADO
There is a story about that famous halidom, Dzogchen Mado in the Dzogchen Monastery.

The procurator-general didn’t believe it, but he still found a precious Dzogchen Mado and had someone pull in a dog, intending to check whether the Dzogchen Mado had the function of Bullet-proof or not.
Soon, a Dzogchen Mado was hung around the dog’s neck. Because the procurator-general could be armed with guns, he drew out his gun and shot that dog. Unexpectedly, the dog fell down immediately. At this time, the procurator-general was in high spirits. He thought that the legendary halidom is so vulnerable and it was not magical at all!
However, the procurator-general saw that although the dog had fell down, it was still breathing; so, he shot it again.
But after a while, that big dog jumped to its feet and shook its body. The two bullets fell down and the dog began to jump around again!
